The tournament benefits the Gloria Gates Memorial Foundation after school and summer programs at Evergreen Manors, Fairview Hills, and Logan Hills (when it is back up and running). The after-school programs provide children with a healthy snack, homework help, tutoring, enrichment, and character development. It was founded by Dr. Zane Gates, a local doctor who was raised in poverty by a single mother who taught him to help others at every opportunity. The Foundation is named in honor of Dr. Gate’s mother, Gloria, who loved and cared for children in need.
$100.00 per golfer includes a round of golf with cart, refreshments on the course, dinner afterwards, and door prizes!
